Perkin Elmer US LLC Ryton Scott Spray Chamber for Optima 2x00/4x00/5x00/7x00 DV/8x00
The Scott spray chamber is made from corrosion-resistant material, which is inert to most mineral acids including hydrofluoric acid, aqua regia and all organic solvents normally used in ICP analyses. The Scott-type design minimizes pulsations from the peristaltic pump. The Type II, two-piece design ensures leak-free performance. The removable inner tube allows the chamber to be easily disassembled for cleaning.

The greater the corrosion, the larger amount of energy is needed to produce a plasma of the same power. Coils in a corroded condition, increases the stress applied to other components in the RF generating system, and can shorten the lifetime of your torch. Copper is used as the base material of most commercially available coils but different plating materials are available. Silver has the best conductance & gold the best corrosion resistance.
